Hedy Nelson maintains a law practice and real estate brokerage firm in Maryland.  Her law practice focuses on business and commercial real estate matters. Her real estate practice emphasizes commercial transactions.By combining her legal experience with her knowledge of real estate transactions, Hedy brings a unique perspective and skill set to her clients. Her law and brokerage licenses permit her to offer a wide range of services to her clients.

Ms. Nelson offers legal services through her firm, Hedy L. Nelson, P.C. She has over 25 years of experience practicing law. Hedy’s law practice focuses on business, commercial and real estate matters.  Ms. Nelson understands and appreciates her clients’ business and financial needs and goals. She works with her clients to achieve those goals by drawing on her experience and ability to think creatively. She prefers to build ongoing relationships with her clients, but assists with one-time projects, as well. 

WITZ REALTY, LLC
Ms. Nelson provides real estate brokerage services through her firm, Witz Realty, LLC. Witz Realty, LLC provides residential and commercial real estate services, with an emphasis on commercial, investment and distressed property transactions. Ms. Nelson’s years of experience structuring, negotiating and closing real estate transactions enable her to serve her clients from start to finish when buying or selling real estate.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

Ms. Nelson received her Juris Doctor from George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1984. She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. Ms. Nelson received her Maryland real estate broker’s license in 2008.

Ms. Nelson has earned certification as a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and a Certified Investor Agent Specialist (CIAS).  To learn more about these certifications, click on the links below.

PERSONAL

Hedy lives and works in Severna Park, Maryland. She has a daughter and a son, a neurotic but sweet black lab, and two rescued cats.  When she's not working, she enjoys quiltmaking, sewing, traveling, crossword puzzles and do-it-yourself home projects.
